A few small things, still lovely
Water pressure was a bit low in the evenings, but Ardit fixed what they could right away. The history and the view more than made up for it.
Three floors, a 'winter room' and a 'summer room', as built in 1820.
Bazaar 2 minutes, castle 8 minutes on foot.
€8 per person with jufka pasta, honey and figs.
Gjirokastër's tower houses were built like small fortresses. This one has been restored by a family of craftsmen, keeping the painted ceilings and stone stairs. The top floor 'summer room' has windows on three sides and the best view of the valley.

We compared a lot of places and this was the best value. Clean, practical and Ardit even arranged our Hop! ride onwards.
Ardit answered every message within minutes and gave us a list of places to eat that were all excellent. Loved the stairs, and very well located.
Spotless when we arrived and Ardit had left fruit and water in the fridge. We loved the view and extended by two nights.

My family restores stone houses. This one took us two years and every beam has a story.
